Just siphon some out of the dipstick tube, saves getting it up and getting covered in oil with the drain plug.

The car manual states to check the oil when the engine is warm but off for a minute or two to let everything settled, what i do on my bike also.

Anyway... The syringe came but sucking oil through a 3mm tube... Ball ache. I've taken about 800ml out an it's just over the upper limit now. I'm warming up the engine and then I'll check it again.

If i need to pump out more should be a bit easier if the oil is warm also, wish i had thought of that an hour ago lol..
