Edit: cheaper to buy a new tyre.

You can (allegedly) get them for 40 odd (being the Yorkshireman I am) or go for the 28 carbon one I linked above

                • I went and looked at the price and decided I can live with a puncture repair kit instead

And there's a further 4 inches of seatpost left in the tube. It's an uncut seatpost too. It's also a case of 90% of my riding is on tarmac so he he hardtail makes sense
Aye that seat is crazy crazy high lol

New bars and grips are approved!

What kind of riding will you be doing on the new whip?

90% road/cycleways to work and back. Then 10% XC in the summer when I get time off work find some trails and go throw it about

                        • Hopefully not

But I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it

You can put multiple plugs in a line on splits / tears as well

Stans, dynaplug and co2 canister = belt, braces and suspenders with a good portion of duct tape

Also sits firmly in the cool but not necessarily needed gadget which is a good chat topic on a mid ride snack break
