    • Grease gun is good for the money, (£13 ish) great for application and the grease is just standard teflon stuff. Already used it to add more grease to front hub

          • Satisfying putting it in, whittling down the list of stuff I haven't done on a bike quickly at the mo

            • I applaud your use of the traditional headset press. Too many run out and buy the 'proper' tools these days lol

              • In conjunction with a rubber malet it was pretty easy, can't understand buying a proper one for home use, they're mega expensive

                • I guess if its the first headset fit a proper tool can help, especially as some frames need some smoothing off for a solid fit. Second time round wood and mallet FTW

                  • Gonna be going on a nice long ride tomorrow, new headset, regreased pedals and wheels bearings should be plush

                      • Always a cringe getting everything spruced up and then getting covered in mud

                            • I don't want to jinx it but looks like there could be some lovely temps (for this time of year like) 15-17*c over saturday and sunday and dry too, amazing trails weather. Expect some Grade IIIs though so fit mudguard.
