  • The Sun has got his incineration laser out, hip, hip, hip hooray.

Bloomin cold and just started to rain here in Brighton. Are we going to have a white Christmas I wonder?
My local hospital has a sign which reads "This way for accidents and emergencies." Haven't people in hospital got enough to worry about without looking for further misfortune?

Our boiler & immersion heater packed up over the weekend, so no heating or hot water. Simply exhaling results in snow forming in my bedroom.

Lots of fog and mist in Suffolk currently, got a few nice pics on the golf course at the weekend. But yeah, my money is on a white Christmas.

Still quite mild down here....Although I've started shutting the big window at night. PC does a grand job of heating the room at the moment but won't cut it for much longer I imagine.

As for White Christmas, I reckon it's an even money bet and I'm almost positive everyone will see a bit of the white stuff in the next 4 months.

I'm swapping back to my winter trenchcoat and hoodie, fingerless gloves and wooly hat soon I reckon, if it gets really cold they'll be a scarf too!

Yeah the PC does a good job of warming the living room but I had to have some heating on earlier. I dont think i can recall a white christmas in 41 years tbh. We almost had one last year.

Very cold down here too. I want to turn the heating up but the 'rents complain it is too hot and that they can't sleep. Bah!

I haven't really noticed the cold to be honest yet, but the last two days I have seen a very thick fog outside. Had to drive in it the other day, and it was actually quite difficult. Could only see a few metres ahead.

Pretty dull here in Leamington now, however at home (Northampton) yesterday it was raining, and I was in Edinburgh over the weekend where it was clear

I greatly enjoyed the drive in via the M1 today... down to 50mph due to spray, bad visibility and surface water

when you guys down south say its cold what are we talking in *C ?

Its been 7*c overnight here last 2 nights but forcast 4*c here tonight. 7*c doesnt feel that cold to wake up to in the morn.

November has been so warm this year if December stays +3*c above average 2011 will be the warmest year on record.

Love this weather, can't wait for it to get colder, still pretty warm really. Would love for it to snow also, hopefully below -15c this year.
