Sadly not. Romney was put up instead...Ron Paul is considered crazy by most Republicans and got pretty much no media coverage. There's a clip somewhere of the Jon Stewart show showing that even the most unlikely of Republican candidates were getting news coverage, with no mention of Ron Paul, even though he actually speaks more sense than pretty much any US politician I've come across.
