  • single modular PSU cable - where to get one

    Hey guys,

Got a modular PSU finally, but the provided sata power cables arent long enough to reach my BR Drive. Basically I'm trying to source one but cant find one.

Aria dont do them right? I cant see them

Quick google for "sata extension cable" should get you going

Why are they so expensive :-( Sata data cables are pennies :-(

I guess there's not much call for them... supply and demand and all that.
Check the bay as well I guess.

          How about a splitter?

Takes one and fans out to feed several.

You can get a molex that does the job, depending on what leads you can take out of the PSU.

Good point, molex - sata would give you a few inches

Probably got one in my spares draw I could post

I have been doing some "decluttering", throwing away old junk that is obsolete.

Today's run to the dump included a stack of cables that predate even LPT. Along with a couple of 20th century modem/routers.

I probably have splitters by the dozen. You never know when you might want one!

Whilst I appreciate the offers folks I found some nice extensions on the bay for 2.50, and unlike splitters it wont clutter the back of my case which is already cramped
