    i have a old 850W XFX Pro Core Edition now what i want to know is will it run 2 VTX3D Black Edition Radeon HD 7870 or would i need to get a new power supplies with more 6-Pin PCI-e?

    something like this 750W EVGA SuperNova (Quickcode 54095)

    That xfx 850 psu is more than enough, you could run two 680's/7970's without a problem.

          this there enough connectors for the 2 graphics cards as i think they each need 2 6-Pin PCI-e so that would be 4 6-Pin PCI-e to run the 2 graphics cards or is there something im not seeing or doing wrong? how would i connect the 2 graphics cards?

          sorry still new to all this

            Your PSU has:
            2x 6-Pin PCI-e Power (Graphics Cards)
            2x 8-Pin (6+2-Pin) PCI-e Power (Graphics Cards)
            The 8pin are actually 6+2, with the +2 being detachable, giving you 4x 6pin in total
