Basically my current PSU is a 500W Coolmaster which came with my case.
Recently got given a HD4890 and put that into my system,
Now that I have its running incredibly load and it seems the psu is under incredible load as the fan seems to spinning at 100% the whole time the PC is turned on.
My specs are;
AMD Phenom II X4 955
8GB Ram
1x 2TB HDD
1x 1TB HDD
1x Optical drive
HD4890
Basically what I need is a more quiet PSU to keep the noise down, don't want something too expensive but then nothing too cheap as cheap psu are crap.
Need something that will run everything fine and keep the PC quiet for a reasonable price.
Also if anyone could recommend as CPU cooler for less than £20 which will keep temps down and be quiet also that would be great.
