  • CPU and Mobo for gaming

    Hello guys,

Looking to get a new CPU/Mobo only for gaming, does anyone have any recommendations for a cheap combo max budget of 300?

    Thanks in advance

AMD wasn't recommended? Really? I'm surprised. The Ryzen 3 CPUs got released yesterday and basically give you a 3.8 to 4 GHz up to date quad for 100.

You can get a hex core and a good motherboard for that with ease, as well.

I built myself an i5 build a month back and two weeks ago built a ryzen for a customer. He got the 1600 and a good b350 board for within your budget.

If im honest I'm slightly jealous, at this point I'd go ryzen if I was building again
