  • With my internet finally sorted out, it was coming in the house at around 42Mb/sec, but now has sadly dropped off to around 35.something Mb which is around the 4.5Mb/sec speed... Still its ok I suppose, just wish I had better cabling coming to my house Damn Aluminium cables....

      • Could be worse. Normally fluctuates between 1mb and 8mb over the course of a day, pretty poor but BT is the only option where we are.

        • Just switched from BT to SKY

got nearly 10ms less ping (in real life stuff not tests)

interesting i guess and pretty cheap 10 per month.

                • Almost four years ago my speeds were 7.45/0.37/45ms. Things haven't changed much

Improved ping and upload, but not a whole lot more.

Not sure what is going on with my line but I've just messaged my ISP for a price on FTTP to my home just to see how much it would cost.....

                              • I wish it was mine shamelessly stolen from another guy on different forum, he was asking for servers to test his 1 Gbps up/down fibre connection....do you believe he only pays 45 a month for it too
