  • Upgrade coming soon whats advice on a x58(1366) board.

    Hi all

Going to upgrade soon and hae been reading quite a bit about a few new mobos but just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Had a good read and was looking at buying this board (trying to keep as cheap as possible as im doing board ram and processor):
    http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=39589

Reviews said it was an excellent mobo but low overclocking potential and cpu did not perform as well as it has done in other boards.

    So what about these instead:

    or

What do you think will be best for my cash?
I normally play games do lots of multi tasking, some small video editing and photoshop. I am looking at getting the I7 930 chip so would like to overclock it at some point.

    Any ideas all?
    Thanks in advance

I would get a 2nd hand one from a reputable source.

      Cheap as chips.

Isn't there a gigabyte X58 in the for sale section.

Personally i'm not a massive ASUS fan as this year i've had 3 RMA for incompatible RAM or damaged Memory controllers.
