  • 4K TV Gaming on Budget

Hey people, im thinking of getting a 4K TV for PC Gaming.. Would a budget 4K TV like the one ive linked be good enough to Game on?
Its got 14ms input lag however are there alternative options with less input lag?
    Thanks

Good spot. I've replaced it with a direct link to the LG page.

Is it worth going for a budget 4K though, Why not go high-end 1080 or Ultra HD?

Yeah sorry about that link guys.. I was thinking of getting this monitor as opposed to a TV since the response time is 1ms which is made for gaming as opposed to the 14ms response time in a TV.. Is this a good option?

I'd probably choose the monitor over the TV - but there are 2 main questions:

        1) How close will you be sitting?
        2) What GPU are you running?

Ill be sitting about 2-3 meters from the monitor and i use a GTX 1070 GPU

Do you think 43" at 2m is going to look any good, even at 4k.. It may do, but personally, thats too big for my liking.

Fair does, how does response time work exactly? Comparing that TV with that monitor, I'm guessing that the monitor is good for gaming even if it has a refresh rate of 60hz, and the TV is bigger but has a much slower response time, even though i think that the TV isn't really made for gaming, What would you recommend? I have a 350 budget

I would go for the monitor. 43" at 2-3 meters is huge and will strain your eyes quickly...well it would for me.
A monitor would always be faster. Do you need the TV part or any of the smart features as that's what you're paying for.

I'd go for the monitor then - it's what it was made for rather then just something it can do in amongst all the other things.

I thought monitors was designed for sitting close less than a metre and tv's for metres away?

optimal distance to sit from 43" TV is 1.83 metres

                      55" is 2.35 metres

                      28" monitor is 56 cm @ 3840x2160 resolution https://designcompaniesranked.com/re...s-this-retina/

Depends on the size of the monitor really..
