yeah probs are but they are still poo for the money.

For 400 you can get some really good laptops

    Toshiba Satellite 750RJ or something

    Core i3, 4gb, 320gb HDD, GT525m.

    Lenovo G570

    Core i3, 6gb, 640gb HDD, HD6370GPU, Bluray Rom.

Or theres a whole load of i3 laptops from 330 with 4gb ram and 500gb hdd.

Thanks Joker, that Samsung looks like a front runner at the moment so I will show the boss and find out what he thinks.

Acer 5749, i3-2330M, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 750GB drive. 15.6" widescreen with webcam, available from 349 at a certain supermarket where everything helps.. That's 200 cheaper than my 5742 was when it came out, with a first-gen i5, 4GB RAM and 500GB drive.

Probably the best laptop I've ever owned, nice and cool under load, quiet, not too heavy, acceptable quality webcam, etc. I use it for everything from Word to Skype to video editing in Premiere Pro, never failed me
