  • Driver for Win7

Please help !! I got a HP pavillion DV1588EA laptop. I 'm looking for a driver on the HP website but there is no any driver for win 7. Do you know where can I get a win7 driver for this laptop from? Especially needs a VGA win7 driver for that. I can see through GPUZ said i915gm.

You seem to have a lot of laptops etc which have problems. Maybe computers are not for you?
My local hospital has a sign which reads "This way for accidents and emergencies." Haven't people in hospital got enough to worry about without looking for further misfortune?

From what I can see that is the same chipset as my Dell inspiron 1300.

There is a graphics driver available, but it does NOT support Aero.

I am running Windows 7 Starter Edition on mine (2GB ram) and it runs, imo, quicker than XP did.
I am not losing weight! I'm getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again!

HP put out a statement some years ago saying the ranges are eol and wont be supported.

Install whatever os is on the coa.

Often Vista and XP drivers will work on Win7
I've not failed. I've just found 10.000 ways that don't work!

I have a hp pavillion dv9000 and dv6800 both picked up on the bay cheap. The entire range have issues with overheating and so people diy reflow them with hairdryers ect and shove them on the bay.

Anyways the 2 we got both had pirate copys of 7 ultimate botched onto them, makes sense really since 40-50 laptop isn't worth the price of 7 ontop.

You can use "hacked" drivers but most will just speed up the overheating and failure of the gpu as they are worked for power.

Install whatever is on the coa and save "your friend" 70.

Can't remember if it was from Intel or windows update, possibly intel.
