Unable to cast from PC

No changes made to my system today but randomly unable to cast from chrome to my chrome cast.

I've restarted the router, the chrome cast and my PC. I've updated chrome, (re)installed the cast extension and i'm able to cast from my phone just fine - Just not from my PC.

Any suggestions? (besides bin it an buy a VAG)

Uninstalled chrome and re-installed an older version, factory reset and setup the chrome cast - still no joy

I think they are just twitchy, my Chromecast works fine 90% of the time and every now and then just refuses to work no matter what I do.

I would check what channels all your WiFi devices are on apparently Chromecast s are fussy and only like channel 3 and one other, I forget.

Are newer casts any better?
