    howdy, i purchased a 970 evo 250GB nvme m.2 drive that bios picks up ok, my issue is how the heck do i install win 10 onto it, ive followed loads of posts all over the place but cant install windows on it, i had to install back onto me 830 ssd then clone that over to 970, if i remember keeps saying something about uefi and gpt and no partitions, ive tried from my windows dvd 1809 and from created USB stick and same issue, all help well appreciated
    my pc setup

    MSI Z390-A PRO mobo
    Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit
    Intel Core i5-9600K 3.7GHz

    Get a working copy of Windows 10, and from that format your new drive using Disk Manager so that you can see it with a drive letter from within Windows 10.

    Then disconnect all other drives, and go through the install process as normal. Your new disk will show up with existing partitions on it. Delete them during the install process, and create new ones and you should be good to go
