For 1080p gaming and music production do I need spend more for 3.4pr 3.0 enough?

someone suggested amd for music production before also but not sure best to get. Trying to be as cheap as can with performance good enough..

Tell us exactly what CPUs you're talking about and then someone can give you an answer.

If you're looking at a 3.4Ghz Pentium 4, then no it won't be better than a 3Ghz i5.

I5 intel same chip but diff speeds

think I gonna go for amd Ryzen 1500x anyway

Synthetic benchmark **** ... same price, two more cores and 8 more threads. Yeah, I know which I'd pick...

Also, 7600K is now going EOL, so you'd need to look at the 8400K or something (is that even a thing?)
