  • Custom CPU fan profile?

I cannot for the life of me work out how to use a custom fan profile on a pc I am using to overclock, does anybody know how I can use a custom profile on a E6550 running in an Asus P5K-SE? the current profile leaves the cpu fan at near idle temperatures even when the CPU is at 66C

Set the fan speeds within the BIOS yourself. The BIOS usually takes care of it pretty well.

I use Asus Fan Xpert, does the trick but only seems to work on PWM though.

For the 'chassis' fans I use the BIOS.

Il have a poke in the bios in a second and see if I can actually find the fan settings in there, couldn't see anything when I last looked. Speedfan wouldn't allow me to control the cpu fan when I tried last :/ Il give the fan xpert software a go later as well and see if that works, thanks
