  • How to get in touch with Aria regarding jobs...?

    Hey guys,

I saw that you have an open position for the social media specialist and that it is part time. I was hoping to be able to talk to you about this position and perhaps even give it a shot, but I never received a response.

So, how do you get in touch with anyone at Aria regarding the matter?

I already emailed them, bud. No response. It's just rude.

My local hospital has a sign which reads "This way for accidents and emergencies." Haven't people in hospital got enough to worry about without looking for further misfortune?

Pretty common for companies not to reply to every job application so don't take it personally. If you are looking to get a job with the opportunity to work with various clients including gaming and companies, handling anything from CS to social media, Modsquad is my employer and they are decent to work for - https://modsquad.com/.

These days a Social Media Specialist is often a fully qualified (yes, there are industry courses on social media - the world has gone crazy!) individual with experience in digital marketing. It's not just something "you give a shot at". Which is probably why Aria didn't get back to you (as Ginger Sheep said, companies generally don't reply to unsuccessful applicants pre-interview stage).

Plus calling them "rude" on their own forum demonstrates a serious lack of professionalism and, most importantly, common sense regarding the usage of very media you're applying to promote. If I was the interviewer (and I am a hiring manager so do have experience with selecting candidates), I would have discarded your application for that reason alone.

Job hunting can be a frustrating task so I do sympathise with you but unfortunately your approach here is completely wrong.
