        so only a TN panel.
I am not losing weight! I'm getting rid of it. I have no intention of finding it again!

still rather pay 350 for a 60hz tn than more for the same myself

          edit

compat list is wrong btw. amd 6000 series and up has dp 1.2, or should. the nvidia ones listed will need to use hdmi.

Is it an 8bit panel? Supposed to be 10bit for proper 4K makes for better colours and contrast

4k is a resolution standard, they could come in black and white and still be 4k dude...

Yeah I know but why splash out on a new 4K display that's still using all the older technology?

                      Kind of pointless.

You can get a 42" 4K TV for not much more as well.

TN panels are generallyou the cheapest of the cheap.so unless he's agreeing I dunno what he is on about again.

IPS, PLS and MVA all beat TN.

Surely if you want 4K to look good you would want better colour accuracy and so on.

But for gaming, this will be fine?

If you want to watch movies then yes get a 1000 one but for games that most developers don't even bother that much on PC to do anything special then this will be fine.
