  • New Gladiator HTPCs

    Hi Guys,

We now offer some decent priced HTPCs for those looking to add a touch of cinema to their living rooms.

Supporting up to 4TB of space (RAID available), BluRay, Bluetooth, WiFi, DirectX 11 Graphics with HDMI, up to 8GB of RAM, SATA 6GB/s & USB 3.0, Xonar 7.1 & 5.1 Dolby HD Audio, and housed in a stylish SFF Micro Chassis.

All based around the new AMD APU technology supporting 2, 3 and 4 Cores.

Don't forget to purchase Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows Home Server 2011 with your new HTPC. Windows 7 Home Premium, is even better adding great new features and visual touch-ups.

Why include windows 7? Knock the price down, and offer it optionally, and preinstall ubuntu tv, XBMC/OpenELEC, or something else free (as in freedom)
      PC: Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.4Ghz, Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI, 2 x 4 GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz, XFX 7870 LE.
      Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad X220 - IntelCore i5 2520M @ 2.5Ghz, 4GB RAM

XBMCBuntu is a good balance as it has the best of both worlds (though I do miss the OpenELEC boot speed).

Not a bad idea to throw in an OS anyway, bit of open source never hurt anyone

People would expect us to support it then, which we don't really have the resources to do.
