Right... Mechanical keyboards are cool and breathtakingly expensive.

Anyway... Is one of the reasons you have one is the pleasing click of the keys and switches all working together? they are noisier than a vanilla keyboard - is that part of the appeal?

We are looking at mech keyboards that are 'quiet' but RawZ et al are grumbling that the point of a mech keyboard is that satisfying noise. They aren't going to be any less expensive tho :)

Discuss!

I've decided I want MX brown switches and would prefer it to be backlit.

I'm willing to spend about £100-£120.

Any recommendations?

Looking for a 4 port USB KVM that actually works. Budget around £50, don't mind used.

Needs to be reasonably small so no rack mount stuff. Also needs support for VGA HD resolution. Audio a bonus but not essential.

Also needs keyboard hot switch as its going to be tucked away out of easy reach so OSD would be useful if possible.
