So I've borrowed a projector from work but I'm having trouble finding any media to project to create the same sort of effect. All the ones I've checked seem to prohibit them unless they're brand new. :/

Recently bought a 19" touch screen panel for my W1907V touchscreen mod.

Came today - one of the pieces of tape at the corner had been peeled. It's actually a very important bit of tape with components on the other side, and I have a feeling (although I can't test until Monday) that it's not going to function.

I also have a feeling they're going to ask me to return it. Which, being a big heavy 19" panel, will cost a crap tonne. And since I bought it for £30 to begin with, it's a bit of a pain in the ****.

Do they have to cover carriage their way if it's faulty or me?

Soooooo, my girlfriends friend lives in a flat, its two houses next to eachother and one has the upstairs and the other the downstairs, the downstairs neighbour is a bit a loud, not too much just a loud TV and sometimes music, sometimes has people round who are loud.

Shes spoken to the landlord and she neighbour has feigned innocence, he's even come round late at night to listen to the noise but its not everyday and sometimes isnt too bad.

The flat is furnished with carpet but i looked under it and the underlay is basically cardboard, that probably was corrugated years ago but has squashed flat, so does nothing to stop any noise.

The landlord wont replace it as h's been round an the noise isnt too bad or he cant even hear the noise on other visits, i've spoken to him and he seems a decent enough chap and is happy for her to buy her own underlay.

Have found the same stuff we have which isnt too expensive and is really good as we live in an apartment building and we've had a few downstairs neighbours being loud.


So anyway finally my question is, the stuff i've found is rated for about 43db in noise reduction and is 11mm thick, but there is also some 3mm stuff for going underneath laminate that is rated around 23db.

So can i use both?

I figured the skinner stuff will go on first and is self adhesive and then use tape and glue to stick the thicker underlay to it???

I personally enjoyed the ride finding myself struggling to put it down however was left with a bad taste in my mouth when it reached its conclusion.

Seems these are all the rage atm so might buy one, i have tiled bathroom floor and walls and a tiled kitchen floor and half the walls, plus hardwood floors in two other rooms so would make good use of one i reckon.

Anyone got on they can recommend, was watching a QVC type advert earlier and saw one that detaches to become a handheld as well which would be good.
