What don't you understand?
I dont understand anything, :P
Nothing, i was just wondering if anyone else was gonna go
I might do it on my laptop, purely for comedy value...

Hmm... an extra 1200avg points
Go on then i'll play :D.

Anyone else actually got vista to run it on?
Only about 300 above me, i tried overclocking my cpu the other day, set the fsb to 400, and uhh.. no was the answer
Overclocks to 3.2 easily but after that i think ill have to adjust voltages and things and i dont really wanna blow **** up :P
Won't even run on my laptop.. Main option window just closes and thats it!
Vista may make a difference, dunno though, know it knocks a bit off of 3d06. Also 16x AA was the max i could choose?
how does this compare to 3dmark? the gtx 275 is loving this benchy

Quality!
2994 without GFX overclock. at 1280x1024
3269 with 80mhz on core, and 300 on memory.
Quality!
Yeah, nothing like a good GeForce 7300 to put more expensive cards to shame

Monkey, what's your score like with the latest drivers? Yours are OLLLLD!
Oh dear, monkey the rookie used the drivers on the cd.
Not quite, i went to the nvidia site and installed from there, as always
Almost the same as Biodoid, only Mac has later drivers
I can't seem to get through the benchmark anymore. Keeps crashing :(
EDIT: Appears to be temperature related. Seems like I can't leave the fan on AUTO.

Is it normal for the "gaming graphics" to display as 2687?
I noticed that on mine last night actually, and was wondering the same thing! Mine shows as 2289, in dxdiag too..
Probably left over system memory being made available?
Im getting a HD4850 for my pc, clocked just below a 4870, in the review i looked at it matched a GTX 260 and is costing me £75.
And it was crash every 10 minutes, then youll send it back to Aria and blow up their test machine

Latest BETA drivers
Take that Mac! :P
Take what? Lower scores than i already have?......Nah don't think i'll bother ta very much ;)
Weird, i could have sworn each one was like 100 more points... weird ahh wel, not far off, and not quite as overclocked as yours :P
What did you adjust to get your CPU to 3.6?
What did you adjust to get your CPU to 3.6?
I think that would be the custom watercooling :p
Ahh yeah... forgot about that.
Any pics of it about?

Don't think so. In fact I haven't seen anything about his setup. Would be interesting to know what goes into a watercooling system.
IIRC i am running the cpu about 1.55v, fsb 400, errrmmm upped the nb voltage a few notches mem is running 960mhz or there abouts. No pics of it i am afraid. WC is a xspc 360 rad, apogee gt block and swiftec 350 pump.
Might have to give those drivers a whirl over the weekend, depening on what the weather is like, if its nice i'll most probably be outside.
You got that 260 folding yet monkey?
I have a bit yeah, i mean i do from time to time to check temps and i just cant afford it really
erm...water?
I knew that was coming :p

I would be interested in seeing pics.
If I had enough money then I would probably watercool my GTX260, switching the fan up to the hairdrier 100% whenever I want to play games is getting a little tiring (in fact I'm thinking of RMA'ing it because you can't game on it for more than an hour with the auto setting). I could probably clock past 666Mhz too :p
We're talking like at least £150 for a full loop from scratch though aren't we?
For a decent set up yes a decent pump / rad / cpu block + tubing and coolant etc would set you back best part of £150.

Should have got a BFG OC2 gtx260 maxcore, all games play on 40% fan
*runs off*

But not at the same performance. I'm going to play with the clock settings, I have read some people have had similar issues. One guy even resolved it by raising his clock speed!
quite possibly, i know motherboards have overclocking "holes" so upping the speed could well improve things, assuming the card is capable of going higher
Using rivatuner I took it to 669 which is the next increment. I guess I'll play the games most crash-prone and see what happens.
I also worked out how to use the scheduler tab to set custom fan speeds depending on temperature, no need to flash. Currently I have it set to whack the fan up to 100% if it goes over 75c and 75% if it's over 65c. Works well
You can even tell it to launch an application based on certain criteria. I set it up to launch GPU-Z with logging if the temps go above 70c, in case I forget to set it going before I game :p
My new card at stock and at 720 core:# temps 30degrees constantly, upto 40 at load.
