Hi folks

I've just been given a new computer desk and my current base unit is too big to fit inside.

Which is the best case for me to go for? My current base has 4 5.25\" bays so I reckon one with just 2 would be the right size height wise. The ones I've seen on the Aria site like this are micro ATX so I assume my current motherboard which is a standard ATX one would be too big for these or would it?

I don't want anything that looks too fancy - anything that's not beige will do me fine. Oh yes and with front USB ports as well.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Hi

My motherbord is an ABIT NF7 if that means anything without me having to delve too dig for info!

The maximum size of case would be:

40 cm high
20 cm wide
48 cm deep

The desk isn't that expensive but it's a corner desk so if my base unit was a wee bit smaller, it would fit in the desk and all fit snugly into the corner of my alcove. I've got my current base on a cheap coffee table sandwiched between my desk and the wall.

The only optical drive I have fitted is a DVD rewriter so I've got 3 wasted drive bays anyway.

Ideally I would prefer a silver case (to match my silver floppy disk drive and DVD rewriter) though any colour other than beige would be okay.

Any recommendations welcome!

this one is a little bit smaller than the size you say you need (looks white but could be beige)

that one does fit into the space, A can of spray paint would fix the white problem.

the second 1 in my list has front usb ports but just a 1.2cm too tall :( but like you said not many choices to choose from
