Anyone ever heard of AKG by harman , Just got my Tiesto news letter seen he's fronting some AKG's and thought id investigate , being a bit of an Audiophile , and seen they have some Gaming headsets you guys might be interested in , just wondering if anyone's ever tried any ?

Always had good results with AKG mics. No reason to suspect the headphones would be any different as long as, like anything, you don't buy the cheapest budget range they do :)

ah good , my bose are failing so might have to invest in akg had my bose 4months so going to go back to the store and replace them

I got these ones from hardtofind's website On sale for £35. Bough these after i sold the 150 quid beats solo hds, worst headphones i had ever owned. Akgs for the win tho

They were bought in-store from Super-Fi in Manchester.

I just think for £50, and for a set of on-ears, the build feels a bit pants. The proprietary cable is also annoying.

Proprietary cable? What do they use instead of a jack?! Sounds like an un needed annoyance, imo...!

Exactly. The wire form the headphones is detachable, one end being 3.5mm (obviously), and the other their own connector.

What a waste of time that is.. That just seems like an extra thing to lose, and an extra connector to get dirty and degrade audio signals.

I think if it was me, I'd just snip the stupid jack off and solder on a normal jack lead :lol:
