View Full Version : RAT3 RMA or what.

Hey guys.
I`ve got about 1 year ago, a RAT3 mouse. Trouble is that a 10 days ago, the mouse wheel failed. It`s just spinning freely with no scroll up or down. I`ve opened a ticket on cyborggaaming.com but nobody bothered to answer me.
Did any of you had any contact with them before? Can any of you lead me some way to how I can get them to answer?

Ha, turns out I have the product manager's direct email so I've just spammed them for you. Hopefully get a reply.

Hi Tim,

Could you get your friend to send me a copy of the receipt (proof of purchase), his shipping address and telephone number, and I can get a replacement sorted form him. Also, if possible attach the original email (if it was an email) that was sent to the Tech support site.

PM me those deets mate!

wow flash, very helpful, just repped.
Also my scroll button isn't the best tbh, I find it annoying and not fully accurate and mine is only 4 months old!
There has to be some sort of flaw but still great mouses :P

I've sent the details off so hopefully they'll let you have another one :)

EDIT: Don't the RAT mice come with a 2 year warranty anyhow? - guess we'll find out.

MadCatz (Cyborg) have sent stawte a form to fill out for his replacement. Mission Accomplished!

Well, it`s all sorted now. Today arrived the brand new RAT 3 from madcatz uk. All thanks to Flash and madcatz uk. Very good rma service.

who paid for the postage for the return btw ?
i tried to RMA a madcatz controller and they insisted that I pay for recorded delivery to Germany, so i told them to go :censored:

I paid when I sent it. They`ve paid for the return.

But why Germany? I dealt with UK base.

don't know mate, that's the address they gave me
was gonna end up costing as much to send back to them as i paid in the first place

Really bad luck there mate or maybe I had good luck.
I`ve sent it to Banbury here in UK. It cost me only £3.50 or something like that to send it RM signed for and that was it.
