Yeah, i've been following this a bit.. Quite interesting! Although, it can't be in Intel's interest to put the CPU part of AMD out of business due to monopolies etc..?
Could be very interesting tho - especially with AMD threatening to terminate the x64 licences. Although, I'm not sure how that would work as the x64 thing, is actually x86-64 - a superset of the x86 thing - which Intel owns..
Either way, it'll be bad news all round if AMD goes under..

I would guess that Intel and AMD will come to a financial agreement in the end.
but it is still a little short sighted of AMD not to have realised that this was a possibility.
Yeah definitely.. There must be a few lawyers starting to work out if they can survive on unemployment benefit, at the moment..
Just been on there site,anyone tride there new Optron 6 Core?(Sorry Wrong Site it was Sapphire"s)
