View Full Version : Mic stopped working on Sennheiser headset

My pride and joy has stopped working, kinda.

I'm not sure what model it is but it looks like the pc 151. The headphones still work really well. But the mic is a no no.

I know the mic socket is not muted as I stuck in a webcam and the mic on that worked instantly.

Anyone had experience of this? Has anyone successfully repaired them?

I was just abouts to play cs last night too :( installed vent and everything :(

sadly the dont last for ever, some dont even last weeks, how long u had em?

A good few years to be honest. They were a gift from a mate.

It's a shame because I'd never be able to replace them with the same quality.

At least the sound works though!

Well id look for just a new mic mate, and see you get on with that, cheaper option too ;)

Almost definitely cable is damaged. I would rewire them and that should sort out the mic problem.
