My computer seems to have spontaniously come back to life. Not sure why, after my recent troubles. I still haven't connected it to my monitor though so I don't actually know what's going on. I'm a bit afraid of using it for longer than 30 seconds though because I need some new thermal compound on my CPU.

Mmmmmmm, minty fresh airflow.
So I have 3.5g of silver thermal compound. How much should I use? Never applied this stuff before.
Apply a plump grain a rice sized blob in the centre.
Fit heatsink and enjoy.
If you have no paste use toothpaste, good for 3 months. :thumbsup:

I have arctic silver 5 and the instructions state that you need a line of paste about a cm long.
I spread my paste out with a craft blade though, as using the rice grain and line methods have left big gaps for me in the past. YMMV.

Just an unreliable system tbh :P what you want is a 8400GS :D:chairfall: with a 3GHz P4 and 2GB arianet RAM ^^

No not at all, you can drink from the age of 5, clearly SOMEBODY *cough* Monkey *cough* needs to read up the law on drinking ages.
I am 16, so I can drink in resturants and from the age of 14 you can drink at PRIVATE parties =] + all my friends are 17 or 18 (as I'm really young in my year (6th August)) so they get served for me :P

We gave up in the end, Expert mode is really difficult! I also suffered a crash, exactly the same as all the other times, when I shoot through a wall at close range it crashes. Must be a L4D bug.
