Hard drive prices have increased a lot, before they managed to freeze the price and not increase it for pre-built gladiators but now they may have little stock and it's no longer viable for them to sell at a discounted price. But don't take my word for it, just a guess.

Yeah i would agree really, they would only have a couple pre-built and only a few hard drives at the original price, when stock runs out they have to buy them at higher prices hence the price increase on the systems.

I had a quote for this one with a hd 6850 and 8gb of ram with a mouse and keyboard for £758, and the one you mentioned doesn't have an operating system i don't think and i don't know much about overclocking

Are you happy to build yourself? Could always spec to your budget :)

I'd rather get it professionally done as i could mess it up quite easily

Aria can build a computer of your spec but for a price of £40
I would stick with the pre-built gladiators but maybe quote them for an added cooler and over clocking on the rage.
You can have 3 changes with no labour cost on them.

Yeh it's just a little disappointing that the v2 went up in price as i could of got it if the bank transfer hadn't of taken so long :/

Unfortunately, we have now used the last of our cheap HDDs (pre-HDD inflation) reserved for SI use only. The Rage Gaming PC was very much an exclusive offer on the run up to Christmas and as such we sold 100s at this price. However we can't sell at this price anymore and have to increase our prices on most systems.

All systems over the next 4 weeks will be assed. Some will be discontinued, others kept but prices increased.

I ordered the Rage model yesterday, i hope you don't bring a model out with the 560ti now as that was what i changed the graphics card to.

I imagine it will just include the new 7970 in the higher end builds.

new range is quite good, would really look into that.
Aria charge £50 to build it. Not £40.
They build it well, mine was very pretty looking:)
Best feeling ever when I first opened it up

no feeling like turning one on for the first time after building it yourself...a mixed sense of joy and relief. The only problem you get is you spen your whole life on aria looking at parts you could put in because you know that you now can even though you can't afford them
