View Full Version : windows live messenger crashing

Hi all, after updating to the latest version of wlm it keeps crashing after i have signed in. I have run antivirus scans and spyware scans, but nothing comes up. I have all the latest Microsoft updates too. Is there anything i can do?

I have also tryied to reinstall it/repair it but still nothing.

Edit: it does it on Vista 32bit/64bit and XP Pro

Have you tried uninstalling it and doing a registry clean like ccleaner and restarting your machie?

Go to www.filehippo.com (http://www.filehippo.com) and try downloading the same version first, be careful as you may click and download a newer version than the one your using (BETA), if that fails try an older version or try the BETA version if that fails

sorry i should of said, yes i have tried the regrestry clean with ccleaner and the uninstilation process, which version of msn is not the beta one?
I am going to try this version out,

Only get them from the MSN site! You don't know what's in those ones really. Scripts that log ur pass and that?!

Well thats bull****, they are the exact same files you get from msn... all they do is add it to theyre server

Check the file properties
