My new system (should hopefully arrive tomorrow):

...bearing in mind it is an advance over this:

AMD Sempron 2400+ (1.67ghz)
512mb 333mhz DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro (256mb, though I did overclock the core and memory speeds from 324mhz / 196mhz to 365 / 220... Oblivion liked that)

So, any ratings out of 10?

P.s. I am new to Aria, so hello all :)

Nice upgrade, doubt you could have got much better for the £££, and the only difference id have probably made is go for the ddr3 version of the 7300gt. I keep banging on about it but Aria don't stock them ( ) but the DDR3 version of the 7300gt is quite a bit faster than the ddr2 version yet only cost approx £10 more than the ddr2, if you shop around.

Oh and welcome to the forums 8)

You'll love it. Although isn't a 9600pro faster than a 7300GT?

Word of warning, make sure your PSU is up to the job. Those A64's won't accept no generic no name power houses :)

No worries, I'll be buying a 500watt PSU soon enough. I won't be installing the new stuff till then. And the 7300GT is better than the 9600pro. I made sure of it

Thanks for the welcome btw

He sure is

[quote:099cc84190=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]Are you using the new machine for music stuff?[/quote:099cc84190]

I sure am :) (or will, once I have my PSU and have set it all up - although my brother has his own little studio. Sort of.)

A tube of Arctic Silver 5 (http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=9573) is also worth having
