Response Time: 5ms
Contrast Ratio: 700:1
Inputs: DVI, VGA, Audio
Viewing Angles: H/V 150/135
Panel Type: Active Matrix

It's not the best looking monitor but certainly has ridiculous performance for only £130.

Yeah, it's had great reviews at the place where you 'sava' lota points. Apparently, the panel it uses is top quality.

I know you mean though PP. It has 5ms response, high contrast, DVI AND VGA.

I'm definitely glad I've waited this long to purchase a TFT. The only thing they need to improve upon now is viewing angles on these low price monitors. Still, I think they're good enough to buy now. :P

Customer and site reviews say they are great.

Sounds like a great deal then! I don't think it looks that bad either. Certainly not when you compare it to the monitor I'm using at the moment.

I actually have the most boring TFT in the world.

I bought it 3 years ago though mind you! 16ms response. Cost me £300 at the time!!

The Xerox has one VGA input.

The Hanns G has DVI and VGA.

[quote:099b26944d=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]Did anyone ever find out if these were going to be stocked? Im probably being a muppet but i can only see the normal 19\" screens on the website, but i want a widescreen one (better for film and TV imo)[/quote:099b26944d]

I would also like to know because I'm building VERY shortly. I think that 'TV looking' Hanns G monitor is pretty darn uglay.

The thing is, I'm torn between the Hyundai N91W and the Hanns G HW191DP. I REALLY like the Hyundai, but how good is the 8ms? Is the quality going to be good enough to ensure that 8ms will be sufficient for a pin sharp, ghost free display? They say it will be in the description but let's just say I'm not a very trusting person...

My plan, if going for the Hyundai, is to eventually have:

PC - DVI,
Xbox 360 - VGA
PS3 - VGA (if an adapter works). Sod HDCP compliancy.

Specs:

Hyundai N91W - 800:1 8ms 170H/155V (DVI/VGAx2)
Hanns G HW191DP - 700:1 5ms 150H/135V (DVI+VGA)

Can anyone give any advice on which is better? If the 8ms is good enough, then the Hyundai is a steal, imo, especially with the better horizontal viewing angles (2 player gaming).

So Aria, any plans to get these monitors in? Everywhere I read this monitor is getting rave reviews, and I want to buy one, but you don't sell them! :(

I've had my eye on one of these for the last few weeks - the only thing putting me off is that it's a TN film panel, thus poor viewing angles and most likely, 6-bit colour mixing.

But then for the price what can you expect! At the end of 2005 I bought, from Aria, a Samsung 710n TFT, 17\" not widescreen, analog only, and that was close to £140. So things are moving nicely in the right direction :)

That Belinea 20.1\" is looking real nice too....

Some may not regard that as a punitive measure.

Myself? I'd hate it.
