Hi People,
Thought I'd share my modest build .....
It started life as a beige number until I sprayed it! ...

Haha, I used to have a Q-Tec PSU, did me proud for year upon year, until it just went pop one day. Nice spraying by the way! What specs have you got running under the bonnet? 8)
Lovin the case, looks Teh Shexi!! 8)
Also had a Qtec 600W PSU, it also went pop in around a year!!
You've been warned
Looking good bud 8) but like the others said ditch the qtec before it fires your beloved pc.
Cheers peeps,
It's a Qtec 450W so I'm not sure if it has the same problems ??? but I've had it since May 04
I forgot to mention that I modded this over 2 and a half years ago  just so I could play EVE. My main machines now are laptops.
Maybe the 4 case fans, the CPU fan, the VGA fan and the 2 PSU fans are keeping it so cold it blows out any fires?
Anyway, thanks for your comments, I'll be doing a new project soon as my 19inch screen is DVI  and I want some new toys (inc, a new PSU) ... hence lurking on Aria !!

I had a Q-tec, it was great, surprisingly. It survived two blow out floppies, I dodgey GFX card, and then a powersurge. Was pretty resilliant, then when it wasnt powerful enough, got a bigger and better one.

Very nice Mini btw. Nothing wrong with a bit of rubber & metal in the right place. Like the colour-coded drums. And is that an RC40 at the back? Did you do all the resto yourself?
I have a 1996 P reg Mini 1.3 with TPI (in Red). The last three MOTs have been (in order) rear subframe, both sills, drivers A-panel. Roll on April and we'll see what goes wrong this time. :D
Nice PC as well.
[quote:22edb3f953=\"PrivatePyle@Work\"]Phewph... thought i was in trouble then! The video i linkied to jus shows the dude who started this thread in his mini coops, the one you can see in the photo above. The rest is all Firerat's imagination [/quote:22edb3f953]

Looking good :) That's an Emermax Verre 350 isn't it :) Did you get that cathode with the case? The one I got was blue, and very old (i.e. fat, short and inefficient) :)
