Installed Windows 7 And A Few Minutes After Getting Onto The Desktop And Using The Internet The System Crashed With The Curso Having A Bunch Of Moving Black Lines All Over It, This Happened A Few Times So I Decided To Revert To XP Pro. After doing This It Seemed Okay, About 30 Minutes Into Using XP The System Crashed Again This Time Displaying A Series Of Multicoloured Lines All Over The Screen, This Just Keeps Happening At Random Times Now An I'm All Out Of Idea's :/
Faulty Motherboard Maybe?

Could be any number of things. First thing I would do is check the GPU, reseat it in the slot and try older drivers. Then I'd check the PSU, thats not easy unless you have a spare. Then I'd run memtest.

Or you could just RMA it..

Sorry for your troubles mate.

Seems as you have no dedicated GPU installed in your system I would RMA the system to get it tested. I would suggest drivers but seeing as you have installed 7/XP and have no dedicated GPU this is less likely to be a problem.

All's I can suggest is make sure that the chipset drivers are installed. If so then RMA the system.

I'd just give aria themselves a call, that way you can make sure you don't do anything that voids the warranty. That's the last thing you want to do if you know somethings wrong. (which it clearly is) :)

These things happen occasionally, all systems sold by Aria are, as i understand it, soak tested thoroughly.

To be honest it sounds like graphics card problems to me, either faulty or not seated proprerly.

As suggested give Aria a call and see if they have anything they can suggest you try and get permission to open it up and check everything is seated properly.

I'll bring this up in the mod section to try and get a customer service guy to check in here.

What was your order number? That migt be of use to the CS team.

Just Out Of Interest, Im Using 32bit Version Of Windows, Should I Test On A 64bit Version?

Naw, shouldn't make any real difference.
Even if it did, it should work on a 64bit version, so i'd still be looking for an RMA ;P

FM1 uses the system RAM for dedicated graphics. I suggest you run Memtest86+.

Sounds to me like maybe something became dislodged in transit?

You might want to post in the customer care section with a link to this thread, the CS guys obviously haven't seen my reported post in the mod section :(

2nd thread here in Customer Service area.. I've locked this thread to keep it simple and so we don't get multiple replies on the same topic from Aria staff! :)

Any repairs/tweaks need to be advised by an Aria staff member to maintain the warranty, so its best dealt with by them now :)
