View Full Version : Number of Processing Cores on particular GTX 260
Can anyone tell me how many processing cores the card shown below has?

I was wondering whether it has the old number of 192, or the shiny new 216.
This may not be an easy question, since this card seems to be unbranded and I cant find the exact same one anywhere else on the web.

That will be the old 192, the 216 versions are marketed as 216 versions.
There were some XFX 216 cores for same price earlier, possibly OOS now :thumbsdn:

2) makes LOUD-VERY LOUD Squealing noice!
3) in the box only: Hdmi, Spidif, Dvi to d-Sub, manual, Cd! - no SLI, no other Media cables!
Performance thou is ok!
without O/C 3d benchmark of 4870 is better!

And the 216 core makes a huge difference performance wise over older spec.
I wouldn't expect any other cables than what you had listed above? whats missing cable wise? (please don't say molex to pci-e 6pin converter, as you sould be using decent psu in first place!)
SLi bridges (if thats what you meant) are supplied, in my experience, with mobo's, the gfx card manufactures have no idea what mobo they will be used in and as mobo's can have the pci express slots at varying widths apart it would more than likely not fit unless if they did supply one, unless they supplied flexy pcb type which is less than ideal.

THE MOTHERBOARD COMPANIES PROVIDE SLI BRIDGES! My god do you not listen? And also, aria supply a set of cards that could be from any of a few sources, palit or others, so it isnt branded as palit.

forget about SLI, i mentioned other important points, but you looked only at one!
i don't have nothing against Palit as many other people who think it is a poor brand, but anyway, Aria should say that it could be for examble Palit, MSI,etc.!

You continued to use an invalid point after being corrected. There are different vendors of cards for different budgets and of different quality, if you chose the cheapest you cannot expect to to be as good as the most expensive version of the same card.
£212 is cheapest?

i don't touch what you have corrected, but as you are from aria you keep your companies points, but i just speak my opinion which can help to provide custommers better information of the product!

We've got a low return rate on that card... think I've only seen 1 come back!

that's true, i guess they just got me wrong, as i am registered on three different PC forums, this is the first issue.
On other forums people listen, give opinions,.. but here if you post something that don't score point for them, they start to mess with people.
