looks dangerous :)

Yeah, its some old tradition which I'm not really sure about. But basically it turns into about 20000 people cramming into a town with a population of about 6000, completely filling the streets, and then local, very strong but completely stupid men, running whilst carrying large barrels which have been soaking in paraffin etc for a few months when they are on fire.

Sounds random, but its a good adrenaline rush..

Phaha, WTF:lol:

Nothing for me, I love fireworks but not alot of people have them round here any more and the local display i normally go to was last weekend and it was chucking it down so didnt go:thumbsdn:

Will have to look in the paper to see if any more are on:sad:

Football or fireworks?

If you ask me foot ball is more dangerous, and pointless

tystar
05-11-08, 14:31
Fireworks are pointless. stand out side in the cold and watch some garbage bonfire with even worse fireworks shooting it up into the sky. i'd sooner watch paint dry.

as it is though i will be watching Manchester UTD V's Celtic on Skysports will be much more enjoyable.

Id much rather be out with friends than watching overpaid jessies kicking a ball around getting paid obscene amounts of money!

I like football! I just HATE Ronaldo. Not his money or anything like that but he's an arrogant little ****. I will never forgive him for what he did in the world cup.
Also back to his own ways, He's stopped scoring and started diving again! He could have got gold in the olympics this year!

I dont rate him as the best player TBH...Far to much foul play, Acting, Diving and carrying on to be in the running for it!

I'll be eating dinner in a few minutes and then probably go out with mates for a bit. Then off to bed when I get back. Probably won't actually go to see fireworks, but i know plenty of places to stop where we can quite easily watch them without actually getting in anywhere. ;)
