Monitor driver

Hi

I have just purchased a Dell 1905FP monitor from Aria, however there was no driver on the cd and I'm running windows 98SE. I can find a driver for XP and 2000, but no 98 driver. Does anyone know where I can get a 98 driver from ?

There isn't a Windows 98 driver.

But you can use Windows Generic driver and set the resolution at
1280 x 1024

Thank you for that, I suspected as much. I already set the native resolution as that of the poster in that thread, and was using the same generic driver. I was searching the Dell site for ages looking for an answer, but you are more resourceful than me lol.

To be honest, the picture is excellent without a Dell driver, and on analogue. Should be even better when I connect it to a DVI card, when I build a new system shortly.
