Hi, after an issue involving the reset button being pressed while my Gladiator Asgard Core i5 750 system (no longer avaliable) was on I was greeted with a screen at startup telling my that the overclock has failed. Windows now reports the CPU back at the stock frequency (2.66GHz).
How can I re-obtain the 4GHz overclock? For some reason the BIOS reports 2.8GHz compared to the 2.66 in Windows...
Go into the BIOS (press 'delete' on startup or similar) and there should be somewhere to load/save you current configuration/settings.
Go in there and it should show you what previous "profiles" have been saved -Aria tend to save the overclock settings in a profile labelled "Aria overclock" or similar... there might even be 2 copies of the same thing.
Load one of those, and then go back to the main screen and "save settings and reboot" - this should bring your overclock back :)
Not sure what board was in that system so can't be too specific with the BIOS instructions, but hopefully it should be fairly obvious.
I don't work for Aria, but I've seen this a couple of times before :)

Cheers, i'll try that and see if it works. It's an ASUS board, P7P55D-E.
Looking for something like this then :thumb:
