Why is ********* a naughty word?

I can't help but notice that the word ********* is starred out in the posts. Is this political correctness? Or is it because the word christ can be used in a blasphemous way. Either way I think it is odd.


I will have to add **** because mine is starred out.

If you celebrate ********* fair enough, it just seems forced on everyone else to me. And if you do celebrate it, you should start at the first day of ********* surely
