just because it has the interface, doesn't mean the drive has the capability to use it to potential. i have a NAS box which has a gigabit ethernet connector, but the CPU in it barely is able to saturate 100 MBit connections. so once again marketing gets to 'tick a box'

thats a good question. i suppose since the billing is pretty much instant there is a good chance you will =/

i think you should take one of these deals if you've had your eye on some other stuff for a while, then you can get it all together for less than you would have otherwise.

this way people can't just log on and snap up a bunch of good deals individually.

Does anybody want it though? Cards in this range are in a bit of a graveyard market and it seems they're struggling to shift them. Too good for basic home/media centre PCs, not good enough for serious gamers. As far as the price goes though, it's way cheaper here than anywhere else (d*bs trying to sell them for 90-100 quid! madness)

Nothing wrong with 5770/6770 graphics cards. There great for budget or mid-range gaming. People seem to forget how cheap you can run games on now even at decent settings. You only have to look at Llano to see how well low end GPU performance has come on over the past 5 years. Games seem to be progressing slower than GPU technology. At this price it's even more of a bargain. We sell shed loads of these at normal price so count yourself lucky!

It's a very good point. Just because there are better cards out there doesn't mean that people actually need them.

I'd be tempted to say anyone going for something better than a 6770 is in the Enthusiast market looking for High/Ultra settings and so wouldn't be interested.
For the mainstream I don't see any problems with a 6770, it's a solid card which should run any game out there on at least Medium/High.
