libmemcached library

"configure: error: Missing required libmemcached library"

Yet I have installed it via yum and wget-./config etc....


Anyone know how to install this properly as there are no guilds for this on CentOS.

Which repositories are you pointed to?

Most likely the packages are old versions in the default CentOS repositories.

CentOS/RedHat (basically the same) are not what you consider cutting edge.
