The Graphics card

My motherboard

Can I use this graphics card on my motherboard?
How much power would I need?
300W enough?

The card will fit, but we need to know more about your 300w psu, is it a "free" one that came with your case or a branded one?

i think it will work but i wouldnt want to have it powering mine for long.

my Power supply is actually 400W Golden Silent
http://www.***********.co.uk/(15477)ColorsIT-400W-Gold-Silent-PSU-12cm-fan.aspx

So that graphics card would run perfectly on my system, plus I might add 2GB RAM 400 Mhz on it and it
http://www.************/Product.aspx?WebProductId=217959&Product=2Gb+(2X1Gb)+Corsair+Value+Select+DDR+PC320 0+(400)%2c+184+Pins%2c+Non-ECC+Unbuffered%2c+CAS+3-3-3-8

buy a Athlon 64 socket 754

http://cgi.****.co.uk/AMD-Athlon-64-3400-2-2-GHz-1M-L2-Socket-754-CPU-Rare_W0QQitemZ350110446564QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 350110446564&_trkparms=72%3A1300%7C39%3A2%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C 240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

and in the future maybe another 150-300 GB hard drive.

Is that all correct and would 400W power supply be enough? (if the hard drive makes a big difference, just ignore it, by that time I will have a recent PC).

Thanks

*links not working, sorry, my bad...

like i said above that i think a 300w unit would work, a 400w should hav no trouble but after looking into that unit more i would make sure that the air coming out the psu is not hot(im not talking searing pain hot but warmer than your breath hot) as this indicates your psu internals are very hot and it being a cheapo unit (£15) its not going to have top drawer internals that are rated for those temps.

as it gets warmer the output of power will lessen and will cause other (seemingly) unrelated issues.

im <3ing brackets tonight, interesting :)
