Wicked price, Tom!
This sort of rate I am wondering whether to risk it over ECC in my Microserver. 2GB-8GB would be a nice boost.

Anyone know if this would work in a 2009 Mac Pro? Meant to be 1033 Mhz but would it downgrade?
Cheers
Yay! At last I get to says this is much better than the deal a few months ago !!!

Yeah you can put faster memory in a slot that only supports 1033MHz, actually there are JEDEC timings for 1033 on this chip so it should be absolutely fine.
I am still using Win XP 32 bit, so this amount of memory would be wasted. Now, if you had a bargain price for Win 7 64 bit, or an extra special bundle price for both I would go for that

how do we go about this?
Can you have 2xCorsair 1333MHz 2GB DDR3 and this memory in the other 2 slots?

Was going to order 4GB memory for a media PC I'm building, but just ordered this for my desktop and will use it's memory in the media PC.

Hi Guys, I am not able to post a new thread, perhaps Aria could explain. Anyway I have a problem, I am out-of-date with my knowledge. I have hadd a memory disaster and I would expect 8Gb to speed up my system. My mobo has a fault but everything else is fine. Could you advise me on the compatiblity of the Phenom 9500 X4 2.2GHz with a better mobo than the ECS GeForce7050M-M Skt AM2 that I have at the moment? Good quality and with the same rear panel connections. DDR3 compatibilty if poss. I have faulty DDR2. I am hoping to upgrade to the Muskin 8Gb that is currently on offer,ok? There is not enough room for my kit details see follow-up. Thank you for any help you may provide, regards, Ray
