View Full Version : Get One In For Me - Please......
Hey,
So since ill be going down to London alot now for meetings i am in need of a Laptop. I want this one but there is none in stock. Can you get some in please as this looks like a great laptop to have with its big 17" screen and high specs :)
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Laptops/Refurbished/Dell+XPS+M1710+Core+2+Duo+Processor+T7400+2.16+GHz +Laptop+?productId=33520
All i need to do now is rob my dads Three Mobile Usb Modem Stick and im sorted :p
But please can you get these back in as i mean i will pay for it right now !
Please..............:)
PS: are they UK style (QWERTY) keyboards because iv noticed some on the bay selling but the keyboards are french or german.
oh wait nevermind, iv found a load of them ALOT cheaper. Why are they all diffrent prices when there all the same laptops??
Ok im going to order this on Thursday i hope but can someone tell me whats was fixed on it and also if its UK QWERTY keyboard and is their any damage to it or scratches?
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Laptops/Refurbished/Dell+XPS+M1710+Duo+Processor+T2600+2.16+GHz+Laptop +?productId=33531
Thanks
PS: also what colour is it as i know the picture shows black and red but they come in diffrent colours like Silver ?
If you look closely they may all have the same model number but the specs are different :)
Also bare in mind that you won't be able to consider it a true portable setup. The top end XPS' are more like desktop replacements
they are big and heavy and hot if its gonna be on your lap
its a B grade, black and silver and a few scratches on the top.

Do they still have the Dell tag numbers on them?
It may help buyers to check on the actual spec if it was listed on the sales page.
For those that don't know with the dell tag number you can look up the spec on Dells website.
they do but they dont always apply as our supplier mixes boxes but leaves the tag on :(

lol, not very helpfull! I would guess it's too labour intensive to go through each one on reciept to double check too.
we get those by the pallet load, the specs on the website are those in the boxes, but other than that its above my head

i've had my eye on these Dell laptops for a while. Wouldn't mind one they RRP for £1000 upwards.
For £284 14" screen this looks a nice spec

A) is it UK QWERTY keyboard
B) what was wrong with it in the first place?
C) *NEW* nft99 can you take a picture of it please and upload it so i can view the scratches. I'm sure you dont wanna loose and order and you can add this order to your list if you have sales targets etc... ;)

they are big and heavy and hot if its gonna be on your lap

Well as long as everything works then i dont care. Just hope nothing breaks after the 90day or could be a waste of cash :(
PS: nft99 any chance of getting a picture of the laptop i want please??

yea but i still dont tihnk they should be sold i mean look at the first picture, looks like a dog has been biting it or somthing.
Would be good if all the Refurb laptops had pictures like these so buyers can see what wrong with them without having to ask etc... :(
whats the 1st pic of?
the back of the screen.
1st pic, thats a closeup of the top not sure if you can do anything about that.
2nd pic, those marks only show up on pics? nowhere near as bad when u look at it.
3rd n 4ht pics, bottom of the laptop so who cares?

Would be good if we had the staff to be able to do it :P
going off the specs and the Dell price of £1000, for £300-£400 they seem like great value if your not assed about a few blemishes
