View Full Version : MIRC type chat.
Is there an IRC type chat I can add to my website as a sub domain (Chat.*******.com) ?
Would need User and Admin settings for it and something a little fancy if there is anything.
Thanks.

EDIT:
Found one, Seems to work quiet well.

qwebirc or pjirc are the web-chat clients i tend to favour. If thats what you looking for. PJIRC is probably the easiest of the two as qwebirc requires some python knowledge http://www.pjirc.com/
Ofcourse that doesnt mean you will be using an irc channel rather than your own private chat type thing.
the colours and themes could be edited if you good with css and stuff

true mate, i agree, but if you want something easy then this hablator was easy to install etc.
Had a look through some of these and looking for something highly customizable.
as well as a way to have it auto post messages. like Chat box rules ect.
@Simon1987 atm The only thing on my website will be the chat box, Just a project im working on atm.
:)
EDIT: would be nice to have it as a private chat rather than IRC.
I feel like a shoutbox would be superior to an IRC chat.
The Aria IRC chat kida did not work as some users came on and started being idiots.
Triva every night was fun though....
I might get a channel back up on my IRC server for Aria and see what we can do about embedding a chat.
