Do SATAII drives work with SATA interfaces? Or are they inconpatable.

Essentially yes sata2 drives should be plug and play compatable with sata1 though some sata2 drives i believe have a jumper that forces them to run sata1 speeds \"just in case\".

Yeah, Just change the Sata Jumper and all should be well!

If it dosn't work set the 1.5gb Limit jumper

yea i did this on an older computer of mine. some jumper moving was required.
