windows update query

i tried installing an optional windows update from nvidia today for my graphics cards but it failed because my network connection is rubbish on this pc.

i now want to try and download it again but cant find how to do it. when i search for updates it says there are none even though the nvidia one failed.

can anyone tell me how to find the update and install it please?

Download a program called dial-a-fix and tick all the boxes , or just the windows update ones and click go, restart the computer and windows update will work fine

the original update failed now though and it never installed. it was an optional one and i do want it but its no longer in the list when i search for updates.

Click restore hidden updates.

I would honestly never install graphics drivers of any kind from Windows Update.

Most of the time, it'll break your system.

Always visit the manufacturer's website and get the absolute latest drivers.
In this case; www.nvidia.com/drivers

Hmm, I agree with Sean, your best option is to go directly to your video cards manufacturer for best result.. there are lots of available free drivers, just search for it, but then again, your best option is through your video cards manufacturer website.
