Hmm, nice deals. I'm surprised Rawz is letting you post this after the last...."Mistake"?

Question.

I just ordered an SSD, RAM and a PSU to upgrade a pc for someone. They also wanted Win7, but I held off getting this yet and was going for an upgrade version.
Since they will not be further upgrading their pc again, and strictly speaking i am this persons "OEM", would I be better getting the oem version and doing a clean install instead of upgrade?
Also, can you buy OEM software on it's own, or does the old rule of needing to buy components at the same time apply?

Just get an OEM upgrade, it's much cheaper (£50+) allthough you do lose the ability too use your old operating system if it was retail with the upgraded version.

No, but you can allways get it elsewhere. The increase in delivery charges won't make much of a dent in the £50+ you save.

polite reminder Miggy, you are on the Aria forums hosted for and paid by the business. Advising to shop elsewhere might be seen by some as a little bit out of order ;)
